Youth Exchange "Towers: history, culture and tradition for social inclusion", ITALY, 23-30 April

Place: Bologna

Towers is a bilateral exchange program funded by the Youth in Action (Action 1.2) where 9 9 young Italian boys meet the Turkish Batman Project Coordination Unit.

The overall objective of the project is to provide participants with knowledge and experience that they can encourage their social inclusion. In particular, students will have the opportunity to learn a bit 'of Italian history and culture, European values, the university of Bologna, local clubs, cinema, cuisine, and a writing workshop a joint project.

All activities are aimed at encouraging the exchange, discussion and transmission of the diversity of participants, including through non-formal learning processes. Indeed, they share each other experiences, cultures, traditions, history, values \u200b\u200band customs .

The exchange will take place in San Lazzaro 23 to 30 April and participants will live together for the duration of the exchange.

YE "USE THE USED, ITS STILL USEFUL, MACEDONIA , 5-14 May

Place: Strumica

Partıcıpant profile: 17-22 years old

Through our project named ‘USE THE USED, ITS STILL USEFUL’ young people from different countries will learn new creative ways of recycling, which will increase their sense of responsibility about protecting the environment and being economical at the same time.

By participating in different workshops they will have the chance to express creatively by using used things which are considered garbage, learn more about the pollution of the environment and share different experiences on this issue with other youngsters. One of the main aims, as well is to boost the young people to come up with new solutions for protection of their environment.

Target group are youngsters 17-22 years old plus group leaders which should be older than 22.

Each country will send 5 participants plus 1 youth leader.

TC “ISLAM IN EUROPE” , UK , 9-16 March

This training course addresses the place and role of Islam in contemporary Europe . Through a programme based on non-formal education methods, the TC will explore the place of religion, culture and identity in today’s Europe , foster reflection on the contemporary and historical factors that influence the portrayal of Islam in European societies and its place in public debate. This TC aims to equip youth workers with relevant tools and methods to address the issue in youth work as well as to influence their attitudes towards Islam and Muslims.

TC “Volunteer Management”, MONTENEGRO , 15-22 April

Main aim of the Training is to increase knowledge of participants from different countries related to process of volunteer management – including placement description, recruitment of volunteers, education and monitoring of volunteers, evaluation and recognition and exchange experiences and best practices in Europe in this field.

TC “Promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding”, MACEDONIA , 22-27 August

Place: Ohrid , Macedonia

Main aim ‐ Raise the capacities of the youth NGO's from Europe to promote inter‐cultural dialogue and mutual understanding between young people. On this event participants will learn how to create quality projects that in wider sense will promote equality, and understanding between European youth.

Main activity of the project is a 5 day international seminar where 32 participants from 8 European countries will learn and share experience how to create and implement projects that in great sense will promote inter‐cultural youth work in multicultural environments.

Objectives : to promote inter‐cultural youth work as a tool that fosters inter‐cultural dialog; to educate 32 participants to create future projects that will promote inter‐cultural dialog and mutual understanding in their communities and on European level; to promote the concept of inter‐cultural learning and values in Europe; to promote CoE white paper on Inter‐cultural dialog and create follow‐up of the event.

Themes : inter‐religious and inter‐cultural dialog in youth work, concept of inter‐cultural dialog, multiculturalism, conflict management, mediation, human rights and anti‐discrimination.

TC “Leadership and strategy”, GREECE , 10-16 April

Place: Xylokastro , Greece

“Leadership and strategy” is a training course in the frame of leadership and strategy of youth organizations and associations linked to the Youth in Action Program, focused on practical issues. Youngsters and social workers from all over Europe will exchange idea and best practices about leadership and strategy for youth and volunteering organisations, will you be one of them?

TC “Pop Your Learning”, FRANCE , 4-8 July

Place: Marseilles , France

“Pop Your Leaning” is a seminar on cooperation to create new project with non formal education for young with fewer opportunities and to exchange as well on learning process and methodologies.

The program has been made for youth workers and trainers (not for youngsters directly) so please apply only if you got practical expereinces.

16 different countries are involved: Belgium , Bulgaria , Denmark , Germany , Greece , Italy , Latvia , Lithuania , Netherlands , Poland , Romania , Spain , Slovakia , Slovenia , Turkey and Sweden with 40 participants in total.
