" Here ... yet another work on Shakespeare. " This is perhaps what some think will be brought to the presentation of this art project, except that this time, the bard of Stratford-upon-Avon was really revisited comminuted contaminated and distorted - in a good way, of course!
Only a deep love for the Elizabethan theater combined with a very Italian feeling could lead to an idea as ambitious: to create a brilliant and original plot that allows actors on stage, that deliberately are only three, to tell a story populated by too-familiar characters such as Othello, Lady Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and other species in a dream-nightmare, whether by the ironic and often hilarious, he plays with the typical jokes Comedy Art, its so dear to Shakespeare himself. The viewer is involved in the scene and almost accompanied by a crescendo of metatheatrical found intriguing as a kind of hyperbolic mirror game.
The story tells of a tormented contemporary director, after a scene of jealousy, he is forced to sleep in a makeshift bed in a closet of the theater where he is working on staging de La Tempesta. One night, alone with his thoughts and goes to sleep, a little to create the charm of the place where it is, a bit to those created by Shakespeare's characters with whom every day is to have to deal, just a dream populated by those characters who knows, loves and hates deeply and now are combined as if he himself was one of them, also an actor on this great theater in the world.
The characters interact with our dreamer, in a series of hilarious situations that play, for example, with an unlikely Othello's jealousy, the agility of a word or Taming the ridiculous Depression Macbeth the murderess, the characters narrate themselves in a new and ironic that, while subverting the traditional, still offers a tribute full of admiration for the genius who created them.
